League Overview

The Sioux Falls Area Pickleball League brings together players of all ages and skill levels to compete and improve their game. Here’s a quick overview:

  • Who Can Join: Open to everyone, from beginners to advanced players. (Must be a SFAP Member)
  • League Duration: Runs weekly for a full season (Usually 8 Weeks; Will be noted if different)
  • Location: Each league is setup at 1 location around Sioux Falls
  • Cost: Check the registration page for the latest league rates. Membership fees may apply.

How Does Pickleball League Work?

Each league night, players are grouped based on skill level to ensure fair and competitive games:

  • Games are played to 15 points, with the winner reaching 15 first (no need to win by 2).
  • Each player will compete in three games per night, with rotating partners.
  • Scores are recorded and used to adjust placements for the following week, promoting fair competition across skill levels.

  1. Visit our Registration Page and complete the online form.
  2. Select your skill level and preferred league days.
  3. Submit payment to confirm your registration.
  4. Look out for a welcome email with more details and your initial schedule.

Become A League Substitute

Register as a substitute for SFAP Leagues and you’ll get the chance to jump into games when regular players can’t make it—it’s the perfect way to play more pickleball, meet new teammates, and keep your skills sharp. As a substitute, you’ll experience the excitement of league play without the weekly commitment, while helping fellow players by ensuring their league matches stay competitive and fun.
